We have all original books warranty card etc. We fklew to Newcastle early on a Saturday morning and the guy picked us up at Williamstown airport in the car and drove us to his house in Belmont where we did the deal. Have to go - more to follow when we have time |

Did you drive it back from Newcastle?
I know it can be quite interesting acquiring unknown cars from distant places and attempting to drive them home!
My most ambitious was a 51 year old Jaguar from Tassie to Mt Mee during Australia's worst bushfires - everything went well apart from the regulator which thought it was on holidays too!!
Lets hear more R8R20!!! |

I would like to hear your story of pain and possibly pleasure with your R20. This would make a lot of us feel that it (being the various problems) don't just happen to us.
I bought a 1938 BMW R71 (750cc twin sidevalve) bike on the weekend, and amazingly various car people and workmates asked me whether I rode it home from Sydney. I just don't think these people have any idea of what an arduous trip that would be, as compared to driving your air conditioned, cruise controlled, ABS equipped modern car over the same distance. _________________ '89 Renault Alpine GTA V6 Turbo

Yep, lets hear more R8R20. I don't know the story of how you came to have the R20 either so am keen to read all about it. You might even shame me into writing something of my Fuego adventure.
Cheers
